When the valve is to be installed horizontally and the globe valve is opened, when the opening height of the valve disc is 25%~30% of the nominal diameter, the flow rate has reached the maximum, indicating that the valve has reached the fully open position. Therefore, the fully open position of the globe valve should be determined by the stroke of the valve disc. The installation and maintenance of the globe valve should pay attention to the following matters: 1. The globe valve operated by handwheel and handle can be installed in any position of the pipeline. 2. The handwheel, handle and rotating mechanism are not allowed to be used for lifting. 3. The flow direction of the medium should be consistent with the direction of the arrow shown on the valve body. 4. Regularly check the seal. The fluid resistance is large, because the medium channel in the valve body is tortuous, the fluid resistance is large, and the power consumption is large. 6. The flow direction of the medium: when the nominal pressure PN≤16MPa, the downstream flow is generally adopted, and the medium flows upwards from the bottom of the valve disc; when the nominal pressure PN≥20MPa, the countercurrent flow is generally adopted, and the medium flows downwards from the top of the valve disc. to increase seal performance. When in use, the globe valve medium can only flow in one direction and cannot change the flow direction. The stem axis of the stainless steel flange globe valve is perpendicular to the sealing surface of the valve seat. The opening or closing stroke of the valve stem is relatively short, and the J41W globe valve has a very reliable cut-off action, which makes this valve very suitable for medium cut-off or regulation and throttling. Once the J41W series stainless steel globe valve is in the open state, there is no longer any contact between its valve seat and the sealing surface of the valve disc, so its sealing surface has less mechanical wear. It is easy to repair or replace the sealing element without removing the whole valve from the pipeline, which is very suitable for the occasion where the valve and pipeline are welded together. The flow direction of the medium changes when passing through this type of valve, so the flow resistance of the globe valve is higher than that of other valves.
