It becomes very bulky, 2 times that of a ball valve, and a diaphragm valve is 3-4 times that of a full-featured ultra-light valve. (7) What needs to be emphasized in particular for diaphragm valves is that there are more and more corrosion-resistant materials, especially in the late 1980s, when the fluorine-lined plastic process was solved, and the fluorine-lined ball valve came out.
