For steam pressure reducing valves, the pressure reduction ratio of the valve must be somewhat higher than the system value; it should be able to respond to a direct-acting or reverse-acting control signal even at maximum or minimum flow. These valves should be selected for the useful control range, which is 20% to 80% of the maximum flow. Normally, it is of equal proportion or has equal properties. These types of valves inherently have the optimum flow characteristics and flow ranges required for proportional control. There are many types of pressure reducing valves, the common ones are: pilot piston pressure reducing valve, membrane pressure reducing valve, bellows pressure reducing valve, proportional pressure reducing valve, self-operated pressure reducing valve, direct acting piston pressure reducing valve , Back pressure regulating valve, etc. They are respectively suitable for different working media. Different forms have different specific working principles. But the general principle is: the pressure reducing valve reduces the inlet pressure to a certain required outlet pressure through the throttling of the opening and closing parts, and keeps the outlet pressure stable. However, the general pressure reducing valve requires that the pressure difference between the inlet and outlet must be 0.2MPa.
